Payment should be made though Mobile Phone (Vodacom MPesa, TIGO Pesa). Meanwhile the customer is allowed to pay his/her Water, Sewer and Service Charges through any NMB Bank Branches in Tanzania, provided that the Customer has the original MUWSA Bills Invoice, Account number or the Customer Statement of the Current Month. One can also pay his/her bill at MUWSA pay point located at MUWSA main Office. Payment can either be by cash or by cheque.
Payments should be made in one instalment unless otherwise agreed upon by the Customer Services Manager or the Credit Control Officer.
For those paying at MUWSA pay point, are issued MUWSA receipt after the payment is made. All Payments made through Bank, payee should be given a pay in slip indicating the amount and specific account number where the payments have been deposited.
For those who make payment through mobile phone facilities, they should make sure that there is a return message reading that the payment is being transferred to MUWSA, showing the amount paid and the balance carried forward of the responsible account.
