Moshi Urban Water Supply Authority (MUWSA) has started collecting information from more than 21,000 customers with the aim of entering it in the authority's system that will facilitate payment of bills using mobile phones.
The system analyst, Mr Idd Semkunde, said the other objective of collecting the data is to enable customers present their water problems without having to personally visit the offices.
